But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

Meditation on John 18-19

Yesterday was Good Friday and I spent a time with some friends of the church to meditate on the Bible passage John 18-19. We did read it together and after that we mentioned our feelings and thoughts about it.

It was great how many different thoughts came up and everyone could agree with the statement of the other person.

Overall a good time and we finished off with the famous “Amazing Grace”.

I just finished updating and redesigning the Myspacepage of an organization that a friend of mine is running.

Tomorrow there is gonna be a public baptism in town. There is gonna be some streetdance and hopefully some good conversations.

I gonna go to bed now.

Start a Revolution

Do you feel like you have no purpose? Perhaps people have said things to you that ripped your heart in two, so therefor you are afraid to do anything special or unique with your life. Do you like your job? Do you like where you live and what you do with your life? Chances are a good 30% (or more) of you reading this answered “no” to every question asked. The fact of the matter is “YOU” have a desire to do something with your life, which is usually “NOT” what you are currently doing. Maybe you have a passion to help the poor, maybe you want to help the youth, or serve the elderly. Perhaps you want to travel to other countries to show the love of Christ to those who have no knowledge of Him yet. Maybe you want to sing in a metal band. Maybe you want to paint great paintings, write amazing books, tat people’s skin, or start a church. Maybe you simply want a steady nine-to-five job and have a family to come home to.

Alright, here is what you must always remember. Before you can do anything, you must put “God” first and be willing to lose it “all” in pursuit of you passion. Second, you must have a solid foundation in Christ, because hard times “will” come. If you build a house with sticks and no foundation, it will blow over. If you build a house with strong brick, and with a “solid” foundation, it will hold up through your lifetime. The point is, you live maybe 100 years at best. Then you’ll be off to Heaven to live with the Big Dude upstairs. So if you are “promised” a sweet place in Heaven with the Almighty Creater of the universe (God), why worry about what the “world” thinks of you? So if you “are” in pursuit of your passions and fullfilling your calling, and if the world says, “your income is too low” or “what you are doing is useless” or “you must do it differently,” why pay any attention to opinions that only distrort your true calling and your vision.

Finally, remember this. “WE ARE CHRISTIANS,” that means we are radical, unique, different, bizaar, spontaneous,….etc. “We are not normal,” and we are not bound by the ways of the world. If God calls you to do something different, just do it. Throw away all the crap your TV and radio says about how you should live, or what you should be, or what you should buy. “Be radical,” make those crazy steps of faith for “God,” who most of us cant see. Being a Christian takes “faith,” and living out your calling is sometimes “crazy,” but I assure you, living for God is the most crazy, fun, spontaneous, life anyone can live. You never know where you will be or what you will be doing 5 years down the road. That is the best part about serving God, all of the little surprises that are right around the corner when you least expect it. Give God your “all” and He will bless you as you start your own revolution.
